I have been playing, performing, recording, and teaching music for many years. I also make instruments. I've invented the Backpacker Guitar® and the Strumstick®. In addition I have spent more than 30 years selling and teaching about my instruments at over 300 juried art fairs. At these fairs I have spoken with many thousands of people about music, my work, and especially learning (and not learning) instruments. All these experiences have given me a wide perspective on matters of Music, Learning Music, Creativity in general, and the role of the Strumstick in facilitating these things.
