  The G has a high bright tone, it is tuned higher than the D, and has a bit smaller soundbox and a shorted length. A consistent reaction when people hear it for the first time is "how do you get so much sound out of such a little body". • "Mr. McNally thank you so much for such a wonderful instrument as the G Strumstick is. I have long wanted to be able to play music and entertain myself, but never really learned any instrument. For example today (Sunday) I went to a small park in the village of Bath Ontario, over looking the lake and played my strumstick and listened to the loons calling across the lake.
